The 8th annual UCTC Student Conference took place on Feb. 1-2, 2002 in the Bechtel Center on the UC Berkeley campus.

Nobel Prize Laureate Daniel McFadden of the Berkeley Economics Department deliberd the Mel Webber Lecture following dinner on the first day of the event. Jose Luis Moscovich of the San Francisco Transportation Authority was the luncheon speaker.
